# Pablo Jarillo-Herrero

> Pablo Jarillo-Herrero's group created the field of twistronics with the 2018 discovery that two graphene sheets twisted to the magic angle of ~1.1 degrees become a correlated-electron superconductor, a Nature result that reshaped condensed matter physics. He was awarded the 2020 Oliver Buckley Prize and co-founded HyperLight Corporation.
