# Mriganka Sur

> Mriganka Sur directs MIT's Simons Center for the Social Brain and is renowned for his rewired ferret experiments demonstrating that cortex self-organizes according to input statistics — foundational for cortical plasticity theory. His work on 40 Hz sensory stimulation has been licensed to Cognito Therapeutics for Alzheimer's clinical trials. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences.
