# Hiroshi Ishii

> Hiroshi Ishii founded MIT Media Lab's Tangible Media Group and invented the Tangible Bits paradigm — the principle that physical objects should embody digital information and computational control. His group's inForm shapeshifting display and Radical Atoms concept envision a future where material itself becomes dynamic digital media. He received the ACM SIGCHI Social Impact Award.
